SUN. August 27, ride The Cumbres & Toltec

It rained off and on overnight but looks clear in the morning. I hate putting my tent away wet but have to. We've got a train to catch. But first we take a few detail photos of the bridge just outside the campground.

There's time in the morning to wonder around the yard. Glenn takes a face full of soot but exclaims it was worht the shot (photo). People begin to arrive for the 10 am departure. There's only one train today. We'll go all the way over to Antinito and return by bus.

We camp for the night below Wolf Creek Pass. Finally we eat those hot dogs we bought for the Burr Trail. They are okay. We stored them in a freezer at the hotel. We needed new buns though.
